For many years, Tourismuszentrum Mecklenburgische Ostseeküste (the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea Coast Tourism Centre, in short TMO) has acted as a regional incoming travel agency in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Apart from the provision of accommodation and holiday package deals for specific subjects, TMO has a very extensive network regarding the tourism of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (comprising service providers, private and public contributors etc. …). Therefore, TMO’s range of offers takes up almost all the particularities that the holiday destination of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has to offer. For this reason, individual and very imaginative incentive and conference programmes were created for groups of 10 or more participants, which involve the characteristics that are typical of this State. In this context, the centres of attention are manor houses and the culture of castles, the golden rapeseed blossom, the fascination of waterways and also team and activity orientated programmes.

Sailing on one of the last wooden boats
You can lend a hand on a traditional sailing vessel – completely without any previous knowledge and without relinquishing the customary comfort. The boat has a rigging that can be compared to a seagoing fishing sailing vessel from more than a hundred years ago. A galley and 10 cosy berths invite you to eventful days on the high seas. In the scope of this, a visit to picturesque ports and idyllic bays is as much on the programme as the communal preparation of meals on-board.

Fishing or diving excursion on the “MS Fritz Reuter”
Today, the former stern trawler runs as a boat for diving and expeditions on the Baltic Sea. With a length of 26 metres, the boat is equipped with 24 comfortable berths, a large lounge, sauna and solarium. Cruises of several days or even a week are possible on the MS Fritz Reuter (freezer chests for storage of the catch are on board the ship). You can stay the night directly on board, full board (food and soft drinks) is provided for appropriately.

A special communal experience at a high ropes centre
Gain new motivation through fascinating experiences, a feeling of shared social experience and team spirit. The high ropes centre in the midst of the Sternberg landscape of lakes brings about a creative production that appeals to your head as much as to your heart. The active involvement of the participants at a 10-metre height means assuming responsibility for oneself and for others. Common goals and a new understanding of the company are promoted in this way. In addition to the convenient location and the competent supervision, new individual concepts can be elaborated.

Kubb – “chess for Vikings”
This old and yet still new game with blocks of wood can be played on almost any outdoor area measuring eight by five metres. The beach and green open spaces are the ideal venue for this game. Before the decisive royal throw is made in this open-air game that is similar to chess, there is plenty of entertainment, both for the players and the onlookers. You learn from each other and with each other, get into conversation with each other and get to know one another. This is ideal for concluding a conference day. Expert instruction is provided by an active member of the Kubb sport.

Conferences and incentives at Schloss Groß Plasten (a castle)
In the heart of the Mecklenburg Lakes, directly by Plastener See (one of the lakes), lies “Schloss Groß Plasten”, the former manor house with its extensive castle park, its own mooring for boats and bicycle rental. Thus, conferences can be conducted in an informal and cultural-historical atmosphere. The most up-to-date conference technology and the planning of individual themed events and supporting programs can be taken for granted.
