BUGA Schwerin
23th -April - 11th October 2009
The German Federal Horticultural Show (BUGA) with the slogan” Seven gardens at the heart of it all” takes place at the center of the city of Schwerin, just besides the Schweriner Lake. the fairy tale castle of Schwerin is also in the middle of the BUGA. New flowers and vegetables growings will be showed. The highlights are the floating grassland, the walking path over the water and also the big flower hall. 17th Störtebeker Festival
20th- June- 5th September 2009 The 20th June started the Störtebeker Festival its 17th edition. Experience the legendary adventure of the pirate Klaus Störtebeker. A theater play with 150 actors, 4 boats, 30 horses, breakneck stunts and countless special effects. Every evening you can enjoy fireworks that will turn your visit of the island of Rügen into an unforgetable experience. >>More information

Ostsee Meeting Bad Doberan
29th July- 2nd Augut 2009
This year the Ostsee Meeting will take place from the 29th July until the 2nd August. The sport highlights are the racing for the big Lübzer-Pils- Ostsee Award and the racing for the golden bullwhip, that will be given on 1st August. >>More information

19th Hanse Sail Rostock
6th-9th August 2009
Impressive windjammers, traditional sailers and the Ship Museum will attract again 1 million of visitors to the port of Rostock and Warnemünde. The wellknown biggest maritime festival of the baltic coast is an attracting point for romantic seafarings and offers the possibility of sailing. The highlights of the event are the Regatta of the schooner, the fireworks and the gathering of the sailing boats.

Van der Valk Hotel Hamburg-Wittenburg
The winter and adventure world is direct at the A24, the motorway Hamburg-Berlin. You can reach Europe´s biggest indoor snow park in 45 minutes from Hamburg and in 90 minutes from Berlin. The visitor can enjoy the snow during the whole year in a total area of 30.000 squared meters. Apart from ski and snowboard the alpincenter offers other activities for young and old. Go-Kart and quad in the outdoor park, climbing in high ropes and beach volleyball sind in the program of the day.
