HanseMesse Rostock

The HanseMesse Rostock celebrated its opening on 19 April 2002 adjacent to the grounds of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2003 (IGA 2003) as the new fair and exhibition centre for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Its excellent location directly on the Warnow river within view of the Baltic Sea is just one of its assets. This creates optimal conditions for international projects, especially with partners from Scandinavia and the Baltic Region, currently one of the most dynamic growth regions of Europe with great potential for the future as well.
The design and planning of the HanseMesse were carried out by the distinguished Hamburg architecture firm v. Gerkan, Marg & Partner (gmp).
